activating menu crash

Description
Activating menu with hot key crashes Shades with the following message "An exception of class NilObjectExcepton was not handled. The application must shut down.

Updates
This is probably due to a corrupt preferences file. Delete the file user/library/preferences/com.charcoaldesign.shades.plist, then try again.

Bug fix worked exactly as advertised. I deleted the app after it stopped working, but it saves me from so much headache I felt compelled to look for an answer and come back to it. Thank you, great app!
