Shades Bug Report

Shades does not start, requires force quit

I installed Shades and clicked the Start button. The status message read, "Connecting to Shadesâ" The Shades icon appeared in the menu bar of my laptop screen, but not my external monitor. Hovering over the icon, the cursor was the pinwheel. I clicked the Stop button. The status read, "Shades is shutting downâ" After several seconds, a dialog sheet said Shades failed to quit and gave me the option to force quit.
