Description

I have a small icon on the menu bar but there is no other menu to create/modify settings. Also, I cann
cannot get any other option to appear or work. Sorry this doesn't work with that fantastic write-=up in Macworld today.

Updates

Can you clarify what happens when you click on the menu icon? Does the calendar appear, or do you see nothing at all?

THere is no menu, that's the odd thing. There is no "MAGICAL" menu on the menu bar to open like all other apps. THe only way I know MAGICAL is open is there there is a small square black box on the upper right side of the menu bar. WHen you click on that, a pull down calendar appears and that is it. No menu, no place to change settings, NOTHING else appears on the desktop or anywhere else for that matter. Again, I am running 10.4.9 on a 24-inch iMac.

Ah okay.

When you move the mouse over the calendar window, an "i" icon appears in the bottom right hand corner - a bit like a Dashboard widget. Click on the this to display the menu. You can also right-click the calendar window for the same effect.

MagiCal does not appear in the Dock, or have any menu bar menus, but it is an ordinary application and will quit when the machine is shut down. If you decide to keep it make sure you put it in your Applications folder (or wherever you keep your applications) and check the "Launch MagiCal at login" box in the Miscellaneous tab of the preferences, or MagiCal will disappear when you restart.

THANK YOU!! Problem solved. Now I feel a bit foolish for not noticing the small "i" like the widgets. THANKS! GREAT APP!
