Updates

Quite right - that's a bug. I'm sure it used to work.

...I just wrote the last post, forgot to mention I'm using MagiCal version 1.1r2 (on my Mac OS X 10.4)... in case it matters.

I'm using Mac OS X 10.6.2 and I am also unable to access an option to select a custom color. It would really help if I could pick my own color to better contrast with the background I have. Thanks!

I'm running OS 10.6.2 on a mid-2009 13" MacBook Pro and am experiencing the same issue.

thank you for your genius app!
I have seen in the option menu that there is a " custom " can be chosen, but when I select the "custom", nothing changes and nothing happens.
In the case that I'm using a black menubar, it would be nice for me to have white words on it .
Please let me know how to do it .
THX !

The custom colour feature is currently broken - hopefully it will get fixed in the next release.

In the meantime, if you send me your MagiCal preferences file (it's in user/library/preferences/com.charcoaldesign.magical.plist) I can manually tweak it for you to make the text colour white.
