Condensed font shows ellipsis

Description
Sometimes using the condensed font with the time as text option (& flashing the separator) will cause the display to be cut off at the right and an ellipsis (...) will replace the rightmost character of the time.

Updates
You are correct. Currently I'm having trouble calculating the string width when the condensed style is used, so I'm just guessing it. Sometimes the guess is wrong for certain fonts or text sizes, so the text gets truncated.
