Shades does not load

  • Version Tested: 1.2b2 (Intel)
  • OS Version Affected: Mac OS X 10.5 Intel
  • Status: Open


Exact Same problem as Chris mentioned before me.

Both one old and the newest version (tried afterwards) stopped working after a restart.

(It might have something to do with a recent OS X update.)

Several attempts of deleting and reinstalling failed.

Ditto - it's just stopped running and when I try to start it in the preferences box it just tells me Shades is not running.

Delete your preference file. It worked for me at least, I guess when my drive reached ZERO the pref file got corrupted., deleted and started up Shades without a problem.

Sigue sin funcionar, ni eliminando preferencias ni reinstalando.

Espero funcione, pues es un fantástico programa.

after i upgrade mac OS to 10.5.6,
shades not when start up as usual
i press shades start button manually but nothing happened

Ditto - Shades simply reports it's not running when Mac starts up, and when I start it manually it just reverts to 'not running'. I'm running Mac 0S 10.5.6
