MagiCal Bug Report
MagiCal forgets date format when special character used
- Type: Incorrect Functionality
- Version Tested: 1.0.9r2 (Universal)
- OS Version Affected: Mac OS X 10.4 PPC
- Status: Fixed in version 1.0.9r3
Description
I set the date format using an arrow character using "Show Character Palette" from the international menu. I wanted to have a bold separator between date and time. It works great until I quit and restart MagiCal, then the format comes up empty and no time is shown at all.
The format is "> H:MM" only the > is replaced with a fancy arrow (THREE-D BOTTOM-LIGHTED RIGHTWARDS ARROWHEAD) from the character palette.
Is this something you can fix?

Updates
It looks like the character is being saved with the wrong encoding in the preferences. I'll see if I can figure out why (and hopefully fix it).
