MagiCal Bug Report
calendar seems to have ended above the screen
- Type: Incorrect Functionality
- Version Tested: 1.1a3 (PPC)
- OS Version Affected: Mac OS X 10.4 PPC
- Status: Verified
I just installed the new 1.1a3 release.
The calendar dropped down ok a few times, and I'm using the new calendar mode (not the legacy mode). I set a bunch of the preferences, and now the calendar seems to open above the menu bar.
When I click on the icon, a shadow appears just below the menu bar, as if the calendar window was "above" the screen. The shadow seems to be the width of the calendar, so maybe that is what's going on.
I quit the application using Activity Monitor, and relaunched it, and now the calendar opens OK again.
It seems to be reproducible -- if you go into the preferences, click on the "use legacy calendar" option, show and hide the calendar, and then click the legacy calendar off again, sometimes the calendar ends up "above" the menubar again after being clicked again.
Anyways, thanks for a great product. For now, I'll use the legacy calendar, since that seems to work very well.
