Chinese character for date formats

  • Type: Cosmetic
  • Version Tested: 1.0.9r4 (Universal)
  • OS Version Affected: Mac OS X 10.4 Intel
  • Status: Closed

Description

I believe that the Chinese character used in the date format dialogue is incorrect - the date format says YYYY'MMDDwhen in fact, for chinese, the format should be YYYY'MMDD (the last character is different). Having said that, it is possible that the format currently in use is for Japanese not Chinese so I'm making this point for nothing.

Updates

Yes, the format is Japanese, not Chinese as you guessed.

PS, you'll notice that non-ascii characters are coming out screwy in the bug tracker. I'm looking into this, but in the meantime the notifications I receive have the correct characters, so it was clear to me what you meant.
