Updates
There is a preference saying first thursday in Januaray is week one. First Thursday in January this year is the 7th of January, thus week 1 is 4-10th of January.
There is bug related to this preference. (NB! In Europe the week starts on Monday)

Also because of this bug week 53 of 2009 was incorrectly reported as week 1 of 2010.

Interestingly, the same bug is present in system date in Tiger. It is solved for the system date in Leopard and Snow Leopard. The problem may have been caused by the fact that the year 2009 has 53 weeks, while most years have 52 weeks.

Magical gives the wrong week-number if you choose monday as starting-day of the week.

ISO 8601 shows week 10, the wrong week (if week begins on monday is set). Current week is 9.
