Will not order with Date first, then time

  • Type: Incorrect Functionality
  • Version Tested: 1.1r1 (Intel)
  • OS Version Affected: Mac OS X 10.5 Intel
  • Status: Closed

Description

Can't get it to place date first, then time. Don't understand Tool Tip part at all as doesn't seem to do anything. If I disable Time & Date in their tabs and put formats in the tool tip section with the last option of the order of date first, then time, MagiCal won't accept it -- says I have to enable features. If I enable date ad time in their respective tabs and enter into in tool tip and enable there with check marks, no effect regardless of what format is there, whether or not matches what's in the tabs. Bottom Line: I want the mon and day to show first in the sequence, then the day of week and time. Can't find a way to get that sequence. Otherwise, looks good. Calendar's a little boring ;-) Had a calendar program with sleek, slimmer profile, charcoal background and black letters, but the Mac that was on died and I can't remember name of software. Luckily, found yours, very similar except calendar look. I like the simplicity of that one and yours, and small footprint up in the top bar. Thanks for sharing it!

Updates

Type your preferred date format into the dropdown list for time or date (the field is editable). To swap date and time around in the menu, hold the command key and drag the date or time text left or right.

Tooltip refers to the text that appears when you hold your mouse cursor over the menu for a second - it has nothing to do with the text that displays in the menu bar normally.
