Using Magic Mouse touch surface to adjust brightness.

  • Type: Other
  • Version Tested: 1.2b3 (Intel)
  • OS Version Affected: Mac OS X 10.6
  • Status: Open

Description

Mac Pro 3.2 GHz (early 2008) 8GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT Apple 30 Inch and Apple 23 Inch screens. Running 10.6.2 (Build 10C540) Internal Striped RAID Boot drive.

When using the new Magic Mouse I click on the Shades icon in the menu bar. The drop down slider appears and I drag the curser to the slide area. I use the touch surface to adjust the brightness and I get an error that says:

An exception of class NilObjectException was not handled. The application must shut down. and I get the blue OK button.

When I drag the curser over the volume control for itunes I can adjust it with the touch surface. So I suspect that there is no support right now for the Magic Mouse's touch surface.
