Pinkforoctober.org has been set up in order to bring attention to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, get people talking about breast cancer, and raise money for research. Like many others, Charcoal Design will be adopting a pink hue for the duration of the month of October...
Charcoal Design is proud to be participating in Pink for October month, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Breast cancer kills over 40,000 (men and women) in the US alone every year. But thanks to earlier detection through screening, increased awareness, and improved treatment, death rates have been falling by around two percent annually since 1990.
Thanks to the efforts of various charities, and several recent high-profile celebrity campaigns, breast cancer awareness is higher than it has ever been.
We join the ranks of several hundred sites that have opted for a pink re-spray this month to raise awareness about breast cancer and to help garner support and funding for research into treatment.
